‘Successful comeback’ Dinwiddy “It was a strange feeling, but it was fun”

It was Dinwiddie’s successful return to Brooklyn.

The Brooklyn Nets won 116-105 in a game against the Chicago Bulls in the 2022-2023 NBA regular season held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, USA on the 10th (Korean time).

Brooklyn recently embarked on a complete overhaul by sending Kyrie Irving (Dallas Mavericks) and Kevin Durant (Phoenix Suns)메이저놀이터. At the center was Spencer Dinwiddie, who returned to Brooklyn. Dinwiddie, who played for Brooklyn from 2016 to 2021, was exchanged for Irving and returned to Brooklyn. On this day, Dinwiddie recorded 25 points and 6 assists.

It was a match where Dinwiddie’s strengths were revealed. Dinwiddie is a player who is weak in 3-point shooting, but can score without ups and downs by breaking through the goal, mid-range scoring, and winning free throws. Against Chicago, he also made 9 free throws and had a respectable field shooting percentage of 47% (8/17). He also scored a winning wedge with a 3-point shot in front of Jack LaVine with 1 minute and 36 seconds left at the end of the 4th quarter.

For Dinwiddie, today’s game must have been a new feeling. This is because Brooklyn is the team that discovered and nurtured the unknown person. Dinwiddie was selected by the Detroit Pistons with the 38th overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, but failed to stand out and moved to Brooklyn. At the time, few NBA fans knew of Dinwiddie’s existence. But in Brooklyn, Dinwiddie emerged as Cinderella as his skills were in full bloom. It was an injury that held back Dinwiddie, who was on a winning streak. Dinwiddie’s season ended with a knee injury after three games in the 2020-2021 season. Dinwiddie, who became a free agent after the season, signed a three-year contract with the Washington Wizards and left Brooklyn.

Dinwiddie did not have a place in Washington either. He changed to a Dallas uniform in a trade for Chris Topps Por Genghis at the trade deadline for the 2021-2022 season. He later played in Dallas and returned to Brooklyn this time in exchange for Irving.

In a post-game interview, Dinwiddie said, “It was a strange feeling. But it was fun. Watching Joe Harris score the 3, I felt, ‘Oh, I’m really back.'”
