Ryu Hyun-jin took on the losing pitch despite his first good QS pitch since returning.

Toronto Blue Jays Ryu Hyun-jin suffered a defeat despite pitching well in his first quality start since returning to the big leagues. The missed balls turned into hits one after another, and the team’s batting line was unable to keep pace in front of opposing starting pitcher Max Scherzer.

Ryu Hyun-jin allowed 5 hits, 6 strikeouts, and 3 runs in 6 innings in a home game against the Texas Rangers held at Rogers Center in Canada on the 13th (Korean time). He went down the mound with his team trailing 0-3 and suffered his third loss (3 wins) this season as the game ended 3-6.

The overall pitch content was good. In particular, the control was close to perfect. Other than a walk given to Robbie Grossman, the opponent’s third hitter in the first inning, the Texas batting line was blocked until the third inning without a single hit. He did not lose momentum as he faced Scher, one of the best pitchers in the major leagues.

The crisis came four times. It started with allowing Corey Seager, who had a lot of fun during his time with the LA Dodgers, 카지노사이트 to hit a heavy hit that slipped through a defensive shift. The first pitch he threw against Grossman was a two-run gun to the left. He got the cutter close to his body, but ended up getting caught in the target.

I had bad luck too. In his third at-bat in the sixth inning, Seager’s missed ball fell in a place where right fielder George Springer, who was playing deep defense, could not catch it, resulting in a double. Grossman struck out, but Mitch Garber’s follow-up hit also landed right in front of Springer. In the end, a sacrifice fly resulted in the third run.

There were opportunities in Toronto’s batting lineup as well. He scored no points each time in the 2nd inning with 2 outs and runners on 1st and 2nd bases and in the 4th inning with 2 outs and 2nd bases on base. An unexpected variable occurred in the bottom of the 6th inning when Ryu Hyun-jin finished pitching. Scherzer, who pitched 5 1/3 scoreless innings and pitched perfectly, left the mound due to a right triceps injury.

Although he became the losing pitcher, it was a meaningful pitch for Ryu Hyun-jin. He completed 6 innings with 82 balls, achieving a quality start for the first time in 1 year and 4 months since May of last year. The season ERA was 2.93.
