Putting mud on a ball? The secret lies in the official WBC ball

On the 17th (Korean time), the WBC (World Baseball Classic) team officials at the Kino Veteran Memorial Stadium in Tucson, Arizona, USA were busy before the start of the game.

While the players warmed up in one corner, the support staff gathered around the official ball and spent time busily슬롯사이트. An official from the national team said, “We are working on mud on the official ball to adapt to the actual game.”

This tournament uses the official baseball of the Major League Baseball. Major League Baseball’s official rules require that baseballs be smeared with mud. This is to prevent a slippery ball from slipping out of the pitcher’s hand. The reason a new ball looks yellow in a major league game is because it has been previously mudd.

Korean and Japanese official balls are less slippery than those in the United States, so no mud work is required.
