Cincinnati Reds rookie Ellie de la Cruz showed off her talent in just two games in the big leagues. De La Cruz started as shortstop at number 4 in the game against the Los Angeles Dodgers held at the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati on the 8th (hereafter Korean time).
He faced Dodgers starter Noah Syndergaard with two out and second base in the first inning, trailing 0–2. Following the foul on the first pitch, De La Cruz threw a 92-mile fastball into the high course on the second pitch and passed it over the right fence.
It was a large home run gun with a distance of 458 feet (139.6 m). The batting speed was 114.8 miles (184.7 km), and I felt it was a home run the moment I hit it. The local broadcaster burst into exclamation, “Oh, my God,” the moment De La Cruz hit.
MLB.com said, “De la Cruz, who was famous for his amazing exit speed and home run distance in the minor leagues, did not disappoint his first major league home run with an exit speed of 114.8 miles (184.7 km) and a distance of 458 feet (139.6 m).” told

According to MLB.com, De La Cruz reached third base from home in 10.83 seconds after hitting. This is the fastest triple hit in the majors this season. As a five-tool player, he showed off his power and speed in his first two games.
De La Cruz, who made his big league debut against the Dodgers on the 6th, recorded his first big league hit, a double. However, his exit velocity was 112 mph (180 km), a long hit that split right-to-middle. He had the fastest exit velocity of any Cincinnati hitter this season.
