Charlie Barnes was in ace mode and “5 billion free agent” Jin-hyeok Noh was in clutch mode. The result: a second straight sweep.
바카라사이트The Lotte Giants won the third game of their weekend series against the KIA Tigers at Sajik Stadium in Busan on Wednesday, 6-1, behind Barnes, who pitched seven innings of one-run ball.
With the win, Lotte completed a three-game road series against the Kiwoom Heroes this week and a three-game home series against Kia with a 2-1 win-loss record. It is the kind of “consistent wins” that Lotte coach Larry Sutton has been emphasising.
Barnes, who topped out at 146kmph with a two-seam fastball, slider and change-up, kept the KIA bats in check. Except for a single to Hwang Dae-in in the third inning, he held the KIA bats without a hit until the fifth inning. The first, second, fourth, and fifth innings were all three-run defeats.

In the top of the sixth inning, Kim gave up the first hit to KIA’s Kim Tae-gun, but he was caught at second base. After a single by Choi Jung-yong and a walk by Park Chan-ho, the bases were loaded with one out on Kim Do-young’s sacrifice fly to centre field. He gave up one hit in the seventh inning, but got out of the inning unscathed.
The Lotte bats were also hot. In the first inning, Lee Jung-hoon and Jeon Jun-woo hit back-to-back singles against KIA starter Mario Sanchez. Park Seung-wook followed with a single in the second inning.

A five-run third inning was the turning point of the game. After Ahn Kwon-soo singled, Ahn Chi-hong walked and Lee Jung-hoon hit a grounder to second base, Kia second baseman Kim Kyu-sung made an error. Lotte took the lead.
Jeon Jun-woo singled to load the bases, and one out later, Park Seung-wook singled to score a run. Kim Min-seok struck out, but Noh Jin-hyuk followed with a three-run double to give Lotte a five-run lead. Sanchez, who was blocked by the so-called “anomaly catcher,” failed to live up to Kia manager Kim Jong-guk’s expectations.
Lotte added a run in the bottom of the eighth on an RBI triple by Lee Jung-geun. Koo Seung-min in the eighth and Kim Won-joong in the ninth closed out the game.
