Right-handed giant Trey Mancini (31) is expected to miss the World Baseball Classic (WBC).
U.S. Yahoo Sports reported on the 24th (Korean time) that Mancini intended to play for the WBC as an Italian representative, but instead of participating in the tournament after signing a contract with the Cubs, he would focus on getting to know his new teammate at the Arizona spring camp. Mancini recently signed a two-year, $14 million (17.3 billion won) contract 바카라 with the Cubs.
Mancini’s career (6 years), which debuted in the big leagues in 2016, is a batting average of 0.265 with 125 homers and 372 RBIs. In 2019, when he played for the Baltimore Orioles, he batted .291 with 35 home runs and 97 RBIs. Last season, he played in 143 games for the Baltimore and Houston Astros, hitting .239 with 18 homers and 63 RBIs. Initially, he was likely to be the center hitter of the Italian national team, but his participation in the WBC was pushed back due to his new contract.
