안전놀이터Los Angeles Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw, 35, has been placed on the disabled list with a shoulder injury.
MLB.com, the official website of Major League Baseball, reported on Thursday (June 4) that “Kershaw has been placed on the 15-day disabled list (IL) with left shoulder soreness. The Dodgers designated left-handed pitcher Victor Gonzalez for assignment and recalled right-handed pitchers Michael Grove and Gavin Stone.”
Kershaw received an injection for shoulder soreness after a road start against Colorado on 28 March. After playing catch for the second straight day, Kershaw decided to press the rest button to ensure his recovery.
Kershaw, who was tied for the National League lead in wins with a 10-4 record and 2.55 ERA this season, will be sidelined. His participation in the All-Star Game, which would have been his 10th career appearance, is also up in the air.
