The women’s final was initially scheduled to take place at 1:30 p.m. on May 5 at Park Jung-hee Gymnasium in Gumi, but the time was changed due to the terrestrial broadcast.

“The start time of the final match has been changed to 2:15 p.m.,” KOVO said. The match will be broadcast live on KBS 2TV.

A total of eight teams competed in the women’s division of the tournament. Supreme (Thailand) came to Korea as an invitational team.

The teams were divided into groups A and B. The first and second place teams from each group advanced to the semifinals, where the two winners met in the final.

The men’s competition will begin at the same venue on June 6, the day after the women’s final. The men’s competition will feature the same eight teams as the women’s, with Panasonic (Japan) invited to participate.
